At first these Sudoku might seem like others you’ve tried, but the clues you get are very different. Some of the puzzles don’t give you very much information to work with—perhaps just a “more than” or “less than” sign. In other cases, the squares are connected by dotted lines and there’s only one sum as a hint. A few Sudoku are simply bigger; but bigger means harder, because instead of the usual 1-9 you have to figure out how 1-16 fits in the grid.
