Excerpt from Ready Reference Guide for the Use of Cortina’s French Method for Individuals and Clubs Home-Study Course
At least three periods of about one hour each should be devoted to each lesson of the Cortina Method, and more if necessary, in order to cover the ground thoroughly. The members of the class should begin to converse with one another at as early a period as possible, using the words and sentences learned in the lessons. The leader should begin each period with a salutation in French, as soon as the salutations have been learned, and the class should respond in unison.
Each member of the class should be provided with Cortina’s French Method, a note-book and pencil.
