Darcy J. Watt is a color blind artist, illustrator and woodcut printmaker. When it comes to color, he has sidestepped his way into gallery shows and collaborated with a digital colorist on commissions for musicians including Guns N’’ Roses and Willie Nelson. Color Me Blind, Watt’’s first adult coloring book, is a collection of 15 beautiful, odd and sometimes crude, but never before hand-colored illustrations. The artist comes clean on his color vision deficiency and hands over his work to those with a passion for coloring, allowing himself to see his work for the first time in full spectrum. Sort of. The book also features a foreword and bonus illustration by Angus Oblong, creator of TVs The Oblongs and author of Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children.
