Sara The Purple Goose Gets Lost is about a purple goose named Sara who lives with her mother on a quaint little farm. She gets lost on her way to her grandmother’s house deep in the forest. Sara wishes she had listened to her mother’s advice to wear warm clothing and to her mother’s directions to Grandmother Goose’s house. Sara has many fascinating adventures with friendly forest animals throughout her journey. Eventually she meets Mr. Bald Eagle who shows her the way to her grandmother’s house. With the kind understanding of the forest animals throughout her adventurous journey, and the helpfulness and valued friendship of Mr. Bald Eagle, Sara never got lost again. Edith E. Parrish born August 3,1951 in Hemphill, Texas. Married to David L. Parrish since June 5,1969. David and Edith have three daughters of whom they are exceptionally proud; Katheryn Ann Parrish Hutto, Tammy Elizabeth Parrish Farmer, and Kimberly Sue ParrishWelch. Edith and David have ten grandchildren whom they love abundantly. Edith graduated from college with an Associate of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree. She has Elementary self-contained and Generic Special Education certifications. She has spent the last nineteen years as a teacher at Hemphill School. In her spare time, Edith enjoys writing, cooking, spending time with her family, and Rusty their black/rust Mini Pincher dog. Kelly Odom was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on April 13,1993. She has been drawing since she could first hold a pencil. Kelly lives in Milam, Texas with her parents and her tiny white boxer, Maggie Moose. She hopes to attend Full Sail University where she will study in game art and design. In her spare time Kelly enjoys playing lots of video games and watching animals.
