Only the broad faces of the cube have thus far been considered. It has, however, narrow lines, or borders, and Sharp points, or angles, separating these faces. In anatomical language the faces are surfaces, the lines borders, the points angles, spines or processes. It is chieﬂy in the study of the bones and viscera that these terms are employed. Other technical terms will be explained as they occur.
